Drones for large scale surveys

Persimia has developed Swift – a long-range quadplane built for efficient aerial surveying of large, hard-to-reach areas. Combining the vertical takeoff and landing capabilities of a multirotor with the range and endurance of a fixed-wing aircraft, Swift enables operators to survey expansive wind farms, solar installations, transmission corridors, and other large areas with fewer interruptions and reduced operational overhead. Its modular payload system supports a range of sensors, including electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) cameras, lidar, and other specialized survey instruments, allowing Swift to adapt to a variety of inspection, monitoring, and mapping missions. For operations requiring continuous coverage with minimal on-site personnel, Swift is available with SwiftNest – an autonomous drone docking system that enables unattended, beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations. Together, Swift and SwiftNest provide a scalable platform for automated aerial data collection, helping operators cover more ground, more efficiently.
